Every commission fabricated by International Dramas Scenic & Drapery Pty Ltd (ABN 76 653 918 426 · ACN 653 918 426) at 142 Sturt Street, Southbank VIC 3006 is inspected on our 28-metre cutting and rigging floor prior to dispatch. Our senior machinists and scenic carpenters verify drop lengths under vertical tension, check brass eyelet spacing at 250 mm centres along reinforced 75 mm Jute webbing headers, and confirm batch flame-retardant compliance certificates against AS/NZS 1530.2 and AS/NZS 1530.3 requirements.
Each roll of 420 gsm to 550 gsm cotton stage velvet, 520 gsm wool serge and wide-width cyclorama cloth is logged by dye lot and accompanied by printed laboratory fire-test documentation for venue safety officers.
Top headers are double-row lock-stitched with heavy bonded nylon thread, fitted with black oxide steel snap hooks or tie-lines, and finished withenclosed galvanized steel chain pockets for plumb vertical drape hang.
Completed curtains, aluminium track sections and modular scenic flats are packed into breathable transit bags or stencilled road crates and shipped from Melbourne across VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT and NT.
